Border Security Forces said on Saturday (May 10, 2025) that it had “completely destroyed” the terrorist launch pad opposite Akhnoor in response to shooting along the other side from the international border.
A BSF spokesman said the base is located in Looni, Sialkot district of Pakistan.

This comes after Pakistan launched an “unprovoked” shooting from the BSF post of the jamb department at 9pm on Friday.
The spokesman said the BSF responded in a proportionate manner, causing widespread damage to the posts and assets of the Pakistan Rangers along international borders.
BSF completely destroyed the terror launch pad of Looni, located in the Sialkot district opposite the Aknoll area.
The spokesman said that our determination to protect India’s sovereignty was unshakable.
