A Madras High Court ruled on Tuesday that a judge on March 12, 2025, decided to build a metro station on United India Insurance Company (UIIC) land to create temple property on White Propertion in Royapettah.
Justices SM Subramaniam and K. Rajasekar granted temporary accommodation under a writ of choice from the Aalayam Kappom Foundation and ordered a return to UIIC four weeks ago. PS Raman, senior legal counsel, said CMRL hopes to continue its plans to acquire UIIC land.
