A young couple's Chinese food outing took an unexpected turn as one of the parents showed up. A 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend were believed to have Joe Ming and have been beaten in public on Friday (May 2) in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Parents disagree with relationships
The incident was a videotape taken on social media, which took place at the Ramgarpal intersection in the Gugini Police Department area. Rohit and his girlfriend are enjoying their food while his parents disapprove of their relationship and they arrive on the scene and start beating them.

In the virus clip, Rohit's mother Sushila hits the couple as they try to escape the scooter. She was also seen grabbing the 19-year-old's hair as local residents and passers-by tried to separate the two. Meanwhile, Rohit's father Shivkaran was beaten by slippers in the video.
Police operations
“The police separated the parties after consulting them and took further legal action,” the local police said in a statement. The head of the Gugini Police Department said an investigation into the matter was underway.
