Parker’s public plea of defense exposes the country as a “rogue state” and exacerbates global terrorism
United Nations: India said Pakistan’s defense minister Khawaja Asif’s public plea acknowledged that the country’s history of supporting and financing terrorist organizations exposed Pakistan as a “rogue state” to fuel global terrorism and destabilize the region.
India’s UN Ambassador Yojna Patel gave a strong right of reply here as Pakistani deputies referenced Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam terrorist attacks on Monday.
“Unfortunately, a special delegation chose to abuse and undermine the forum to indulge in propaganda and make unfounded allegations against India,” Patel said.
“The world has heard in a recent television interview that Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif acknowledges and recognizes Pakistan’s history of supporting, training and funding terrorist organizations,” she said.
Patel asserted: “No one was surprised by this public confession and exposed Pakistan as a rogue state, fueling global terrorism and destabilizing the region. The world can no longer turn a blind eye. I have nothing to add.”
“Well, we’ve done this dirty work for the United States for about thirty years, including the United Kingdom,” Asif said in a recent interview with Sky News. “He admitted Pakistan has a long history of supporting, supporting, training, training and funding these terrorist organizations.
