Warangal: Mills Colonial Police arrested Gundati Narendar Kumar, a 20th Division company, allegedly allegedly attempted to assault a woman leader and seduced her to promise a political opportunity in Kashibugga, Warangal on Sunday.
According to police, the woman’s leader filed a complaint accusing Narendar of trying to assault while visiting his house for a meeting. Her top was torn to escape from the company.
After escaping from Kumar’s house, the female leader informed the police through the Dial 100 emergency service. Police detained Narendal, registered a case and began an investigation.
Sources of Narendar’s election as BRS vote recently joined Congress, reportedly working with donation minister Konda Surekha. Narendar’s followers claimed the arrest was a conspiracy.
BJP leader Errabelli Pradeep Rao condemned the arrest of Narendal and claimed the arrest was carried out as part of a political vendetta. He asked the company to release the company immediately.
