Telugu Desam Party MLA BONELA VIJAYA CHANDRA announced on Wednesday that the state government is eager to transform Parvatipuram into a model city and to enhance civic amenities in all wards over the next few years.
“I will urge Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana to approve additional funds to develop Parvatipuram, the regional headquarters of the newly formed Parvatipuram-Manyyam region,” he said.
As part of the Good Morning Palvatipuram program, the MLA visited the 11th and 12th districts and interacted with local residents who shared their concerns.
The MLA directed Municipal Commissioner Venkateswarulu to ensure that all wards in Parvatipuram have proper drainage, CC roads and drinking water facilities. He criticized the former YSRCP government for neglecting the town’s development for years.
