When Vince accepted the award, the entire locker room laughed and even brought him fun. Vince had a cheeky smile on her face and couldn’t help but enjoy the moment while collecting the award.

Unconventional awards have long been part of cricket culture, an example of what happened recently in the Pakistan Premier League (PSL) in 2025. James Vince was surprised when he was summoned to the locker room to receive a special sponsor giveaway after being appointed as the contestant during the post-match speech.

The British cricketer, known as the most reliable player in the game, was humorously awarded a hairdryer, which drew his laughter. The video captures James Vince’s reaction to winning a hairdryer as an award soon became a hit on social media, sparking humorous comments from netizens.

In a high-scoring match, the Karachi Kings were tasked with chasing 235 difficult goals, with James Vince playing a key role. Despite losing the early wicket, Vince’s outstanding innings, including 43 shots in 101, paved the way for the Karachi Kings to get four for an exciting victory. This century marks Vince’s seventh t20 t20 and his first in PSL.

On the opposite side, Multans captain Mohammad Rizwan also scored a century to gain batting ability with the support of Kamran Ghulam and Michael Bracewell, giving his team a 234/5 competition in 20 games totaling 234/5.

James Vince’s reaction to the chase said: “A tough chase, but when we do the hit, we realize how good this surface is. The way Khushdil beats is also great. The game is far away from you in any game when it’s over 15-16.

“So, the way Khushdil attacked CJ when the speed of the climb was amazing. I did the hard work and was happy until the end, but we were very deep and it helped chase such a chase.”
