President Vladimir Putin said Russia is ready for negotiations and a “fair reconciliation.”

President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that Russia remains open to negotiations and supports efforts by global powers, including the United States and China, to resolve the conflict in Ukraine in a fair manner.
Russian state media reported: “Russia has been preparing for negotiations and welcomes a fair reconciliation from the United States, China and other countries to Ukraine.”
But Putin also accused Ukraine of violating strikes against energy infrastructure “more than 100 times.”
He claimed that Russia reserves the right to respond to such actions.
According to Interfax, during a meeting with Russian Army Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov, Putin directed military leaders to prepare to respond to any “positive actions” in Ukraine if they occur during the ceasefire.
These statements are amid intensification of international efforts to reduce the war, which has entered its third year with little sign of resolution.
