State ban minister S Muthusamy said that during the AIADMK regime, a case was conducted under the alleged corruption of TASMAC, but nothing was found. So Ed introduces a wonderful story about corruption in Rs 10 billion at Tasmac and proves that the allegation is harassing its employees.
Muthusamy said the state government will support its employees because the ED violated norms set by the Supreme Court to carry out attacks that have not been produced in the last two days. He said there was no political vendetta on the attack and protested on behalf of the state government.
PMK President Anbumani Ramadoss said the case against TASMAC should be handed over to the CBI for investigation. He said that because Tasmac has a lot of corruption allegations, only the CBI can investigate them and raise the truth.
He said that if Tasmac is not corrupt, the state should face the raids boldly instead of trying to stop them through court cases, he said, adding that it would cover everything up by opposing the 40 cases registered against it.
Meanwhile, DMK organization secretary RS Bharathi criticized Palaniswami’s attack on the DMK government and claimed that he was doing so to save his Delhi boss, who has not yet issued funds to the state with Rs 6.17 crore under the Right to Education.
He said Palaniswamy could not question the coalition government dragging funds back to the state, but was making mistakes with the state government.
