Phase 2 of women’s training program for cinema technology begins

Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan was inaugurated at the second phase of the government project, aiming to provide training on Wednesday at the cinema technology department in Thiruvananthapuram.

She spoke after the opening ceremony in the second phase of the government project to provide training for women in the cinema technology department on Wednesday. She said he is working to increase women’s participation in underrepresented areas.

Prem Kumar, Chairman of the Chalachitra Academy of Kerala, presided over the inauguration of the technical training program to be held on Wednesday to Sunday (April 2-6) at Guru Gopinath Natanagramam in Thiruvananthapuram. The project is being implemented in collaboration with Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission and Kerala State Film Development Corporation. According to specific criteria, there are two stages for women interested in the film industry.

A committee composed of representatives of Chalachitra Academy, the Committee on Knowledge Economic Tasks and Labor Selects the necessary qualifications of applicants among the applicants. The camp held in September had as many as 30 women attending.

Based on their performance in this camp, 13 participants selected from seven categories will be provided in their respective fields. During the training period, a fixed amount of allowance will be provided through the Chalachitra Academy. After the training, professional film production companies will open employment opportunities.
