Playoff qualifying scenes for all teams after RCB and CSK

That's what each team needs to secure their position in the playoffs, while Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) currently at the top of the rankings.
The match for a spot in the Indian Premier League playoffs is intensifying, with eight teams still fighting. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have been eliminated from the first four games. Currently, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) leads with 16 points in 11 games, positioning them well to secure a playoff position. Following closely behind are the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT), with 14 points, playing in 11 games and 10 games respectively.
The Punjab Kings (PBKS) is currently ranked fourth and last playoffs with 13 points in 10 games.
Let's dig into the qualification schemes for the remaining teams:
1. Royal Challenger Bangalore
RCB's position in the playoffs seems almost certain, with 16 points in his hand. They only need to win from the remaining three games to secure their position. Winning all remaining matches will ensure they get the top two.
2. Mumbai Indians
Five-time champions must win at least two games to secure a playoff position. If Mi wins the remaining matches and other results are favorable, there is a great chance that it will be in the top two.
3. Gujarat Titan
For GT, the road to entering the playoffs is simple. They need to win two of the remaining four games to qualify. Winning all four games will ensure they finish the top two.
4. King of Punjab
With six wins and one shot in nine games, PBK needs to win at least two remaining games to get the playoffs. They also have a chance to make the top two, but that requires good results in other competitions.
5. Delhi Capital
The recent form decline has cost DC three of its last five games. Currently 12 points after 10 games, they need to win 3 games in the remaining 4 games to qualify for the playoffs.
6. Lucknow Super Giant
The Lucknow super giant is currently ranked sixth in the rankings, scoring 10 points from 10 games. To maintain a place in the playoffs, they must win three of the remaining four games.
7. Kolkata Knight Rider
The Kolkata Cavaliers are currently ranked seventh on the points table, amassing 9 points from 10 games. To maintain the hope of the playoffs, they must win in at least three games and rely on favorable results in other games.
8. SunrisersHyderabad
Similar to the Kolkata Cavaliers, the Hyderabad Sunrisers also have the chance to play for the playoffs. But even if they manage to win all the remaining games, it is still possible that they won’t be able to get a spot in the playoffs.
What is the cutoff score of the IPL playoff points table in the 2024 IPL season?
Last season, the final champion KKR ended at the top of the league stage with a 20-point mark. By comparison, RCB scored only 14 points in the game and finished fourth. They managed to make CSK, DC and LSG stand out in their last game based on net run rates. This marks a team's lowest point in the IPL playoffs in game history.
After the 10 team format returned in 2022, the qualification cutoff was set to 16 points in both the IPL 2022 and 2023 seasons.
