TN government implements the “Ungal Thogudhiyil Mudhalamaicar” initiative without any political bias: Stalin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin told the General Assembly on Tuesday that the “Ungal Thogudhiyil Mudhalamaicar” (the chief minister of your constituency) initiative is being implemented in the state without any political bias.

The Chief Minister is responding to the leaders of opposition Edappadi.K. Palaniswami claimed that when the pending project was proposed, they were denied, citing that they were financially unfeasible to implement under the initiative. He also said that even if any alternative projects were proposed, there was no responsibility under the initiative.

According to the “Ungal Thogudhiyil Mudhalamaicar” initiative, all 234 lawmakers should provide collectors in their area with a list of 10 long-term standby items.

Mr Stalin said: “Our government conducts a review of this initiative every two months. As Chief Minister, I personally oversee these reviews. Only under this initiative can projects that are economically viable and feasible. The program is implementing such projects without any political bias.”
