PM Modi Hails inaugurated at Amravati Airport, saying it was “good news in Maharashtra”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the inauguration of Amravati Airport on Wednesday (16 April 2025) and said it was news in Maharashtra, especially in the Vidalba region.

PM Modi said in an article on X: “For Maharashtra, this is Maharashtra, especially the Vidalba region.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Wednesday unveiled Amravati Airport on Wednesday amid Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and ddeputy cms eknath shinde and ajit pawar. Mr Naidu said the first flight between Amravati and Mumbai, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, funded by RCS-VGF.

“Today is a historical milestone for Vidaba! Ram Mohan Naidu said in an article on X that the flight also witnessed a demonstration flight by South Asia’s largest Air India Flight Training Organization (FTO).

The coalition government has also taken several steps to provide budget-friendly food at Indian airports. Last month, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu opened Udan Yatri Cafe at Chennai Airport.

The first Udan Yatri Cafe was opened at Kolkata Airport in December last year. The initiative is now expanding nationwide in light of huge passenger demand, and soon the Udan Yatri Cafe facility will begin at the Delhi Airport.

Dial CEO Videoh Kumar Jaipuriar said in a media interaction on Wednesday that they are opening Udaan Yatri Cafe at Delhi Airport to benefit passengers.
