“Protect all ethnic minorities, no excuses”: India slams Bangladesh after Indian community leaders are killed | Indian news

India slammed Bangladesh on Saturday after allegedly kidnapped and murdered a prominent Hindu community leader, Bhabesh Chandra Roy.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in an article on social media platform X that Roy’s killing follows the “systematic persecution” model of Hindu ethnic minorities under the Bangladesh Provisional Government.

He said: “We have already noticed with pain the kidnapping and brutal killing of Shri Bhabesh Chandra Roy, the leader of Hindu ethnic minority in Bangladesh. This killing follows the systematic persecution of ethnic minorities in India under the Provisional Government, even if such perpetrators of previous such incidents roam under the perpetrators of such incidents.”
