NHRC notified Telangana Govt that three workers at the explosion plant died.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issued a notice to the Telangana government on Monday (5 May 2025) in the deaths of three workers and the deaths injured in the bombings that occurred in the propellant mixing department of an explosives manufacturing plant in the village of Katepalli in the Yadadri Bhongir district.
According to reports, the incident occurred on April 29, and the explosion caused a complete collapse of the factory's hybrid unit structure. The company has been reportedly manufacturing explosives for commercial and leading organizations, including the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
The Commission noted that the case seriously violated the human rights of the victims and therefore issued a notice to the Chief Secretary, Telangana Government and the Chief of the Telangana Police Department, calling for a detailed report on the matter within two weeks. The report is expected to include the health status of injured persons.
