Its natural depth draft nearly 20 metres and its location near one of the world’s busiest maritime trade routes further strengthened India’s position in global trade, the statement added.

He will also launch railway projects aimed at improving connectivity and capacity.

In other projects, he will also lay the foundations within missile testing range of Nagayalanka in Andhra Pradesh, worth about Rs 146 billion. It will include a launch center, technical instrumentation facilities, indigenous radar, telemetry and electro-optical systems, thus enhancing the country’s defense preparations.

He will lay the foundation stone of the “PM Ekta Shopping Center” in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam.

The PMO said its goal is to promote national integration, support the Indian Made initiative, promote “a region’s products”, create jobs, empower rural artisans and enhance the market presence of indigenous products.
