PM vowed to build Purvanchal Development Hub, saying: “Try to host the 2036 Olympics”

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation and opened various development projects worth over Rs 388 billion in Varanasi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that India is doing everything possible to host the 2036 Olympics and asked young people in Kashi to start training to shine in the Olympics. “In the coming months, when all the development work will be completed, when commuting to and from Varanasi will become easier, there will be progress in work and in businesses… CT ropeway trials have also begun in Varanasi… We are in constant pursuit of providing growth opportunities to the youth of Kashi in the field of sports. We are trying our best to be able to host the 2036 Olympics. But to shine in the Olympics, the youth of Prime Minister Kashi Modi said after laying the cornerstone and opening multiple development efforts in Varanasi.

The Prime Minister highlighted improved health infrastructure in his constituency and said signs of development were when facilities reached the people.

“We also know about treatment in the whole Purvanchal 10-11 years ago. Today the situation is different, and my Kashgar is now the capital of health. Today, the large hospitals in Delhi and Mumbai are near your home. This is where development, the facilities are sourced, where people are treated. When you bless our treatment for the third time, we will fulfill it with our services. Ayushman vandana yojana is not only the treatment of the elderly, but also for their respect.

PM Modi vowed to make Purvanchal a development center and said Kashi is now located in the center of the economic map of Purvanchal.

“Many infrastructure projects to boost connectivity, providing ‘nal see jal’ to every household, education, healthcare, and expansion of sports facilities, and the resolve to provide better facilities for every region, every family, and every youngster will be eased and facilityated with these projects inaugurated today, and will prove to be a milestone towards a ‘Viksit Purvanchal,” the PM said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation and opened various development projects worth over Rs 388 billion in Varanasi.

This is the Prime Minister’s first visit to Varanasi after the completion of the government led by CM Yogi-Adityanath in eight years.

PM Modi also handed over the Ayushman Vay Vandana card to seniors for more than 70 years. He also provided Geographic Instruction (GI) certificates to a variety of local items and products including Tabla, Painting, Thandai and Tiranga Barfi.

The Prime Minister also transferred over Rs 1,000 crore bonuses to milk suppliers in Uttar Pradesh, which are associated with Barnas Dairy.
