The Tiruvana Tapuran City Police Department investigated the suicide of a 24-year-old Intelligence Service (IB) official and is considering legal options, including booking her colleague Sukanth Suresh to shorten her suicide.
Peta police have already raised his head to Mr. Suresh, a native of Edappal from Malappuram, who has been absconding to Kochi.
According to official sources, efforts have been made to call Mr. Suresh for inquiries, but to no avail. Two police teams have been commissioned to find his whereabouts.
The deceased’s family claimed he was financially exploited and abused her. They also claimed that her colleagues had wasted about Rs 3.5 lakh from her.
The woman from Pathanamthitta was found dead on the railroad track between Pettah and Chakka on March 24. Police have confirmed that the victim had contacted Mr Suresh for the last time before his death. Her phone records show that the two have been talking for nearly eight minutes.
