Warangal: Deputy Inspector Bolagani Sathish Kumar donated Rs 5,000 from his personal savings to help road accident victims and their families at Maripeda Mandal.
The victim, Dharamsoth Naveen of Botya Thanda of Maripeda Mandal, suffered a serious head injury in a road accident when he returned from get off work. Although he survived, the damage made him mentally unstable and unable to continue working.
Naveen, who has been working as a chef, is the only breadwinner for his wife and two young children. Now, he is bedridden, his family has no source of income and depends entirely on his wife to take care of and support. While investigating the routine case, Si Sathish Kumar visited Naveen’s home and was deeply moved by its condition.
Botya Thanda residents praised the official’s gestures and called on philanthropists and social organizations to provide further support to families until Naveen recovered.
