A Mississippi community was shocked after the arrest of a once-respected high school teacher who is now accused of inappropriate contact with one of her underage students, including allegedly “makes” with him in a taco bell parking lot.

Court documents filed in DeSoto County depict disturbing photos of 31-year-old Natalia Elizabeth Wright, a special education inclusion teacher at Lewisburg High School.

Wright is accused of touching a person with a trust position, a felony offence under Mississippi law.

Wright, who taught and coached the victim, was charged with committing “tenacity of sexual desire” with a child under the age of 18, according to an affidavit from the Desoto County Sheriff’s Office.

The allegations cover both private and public environments.

Investigators said multiple witnesses reported Wright “kissed and made” with students at at least two locations on April 21: the parking lot of Taco Bell and the parking lot of the Longview Point Baptist church in Hernando.

The affidavit said the sightings came a few weeks after she had resigned to the school district.

Wright resigned from Lewisburg High on April 3 as school officials realized that court documents called “inappropriate connections” including physical touch, ongoing communication and multiple times that students drove their own private vehicles to school.

But the most annoying evidence may come from Wright’s inner home.

According to authorities, Wright’s husband allegedly obtained videos and recordings that she admitted to kissing students “two to three times” while tutoring him in a private family setting.

The admission, combined with witness testimony, her close contact with the victim, as a teacher and mentor, seems to be enough to raise the charges.

Court documents state that Wright “does, intentionally, illegally and felony…strokes or touches her mouth…a child under the age of 18.”

Wright, who had no previous criminal history, was arrested on May 13 and later released on a margin of $200,000.

According to the Mississippi Code, Wright’s charges are a serious felony and if convicted, she may carry a lot of imprisonment time.
