Tiruchi Apollo Specialty Hospital marks World Liver Day by organizing bicycle rally to raise awareness about the importance of keeping vital organs healthy on Saturday. The theme of the program is “Protect the liver – it protects you”.
The rally was held by Municipal Administration Minister KN Nehru in downtown Apollo in Thillai Nagar. Attorney General of Police (Central District) K. Joshi Nirmal Kumar, M. Mayor Anbazhagan and KAPV Government Medical College Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital Dean S. Kumaravel was present.
A large number of health enthusiasts, the public and volunteers participated in the “Tornado” ending at Anna Stadium. Kumaragurubaran, senior hepatologist, Vijhay Ganesun, consultant surgeon at Apollo Specialty Hospital and liver transplant surgeon.
