Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) star Virat Kohli has become the first player in Indian Premier League (IPL) history to beat 1,000 boundaries.

Kohli reached this milestone in the IPL match against the Delhi capital in Thursday, reaching the milestone at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Thursday. His staggering 1,000 boundary statistics in all 18 IPL seasons include 721 two-quarters and 279 one-six.

The batsman leads the most quarter in IPL history, while he holds third in the sixth angle, behind Chris Gayle (357) and Rohit Sharma (282).

So far, Kohli has won 186 runs in this ongoing IPL season.

In the game against DC, Kohli scored 22 runs with just 2 sixes and 1, while RCB ended up in losing. First hitting the ball, the RCB started very strongly, but was able to have a total of 163 out of 20 points. In response, KL Rahul’s brilliant 93 was not eliminated, helping the Delhi Capitals chase their goal with a score of 17.5 points.

RCB is currently third in the scoring table with three wins in five matches and will face Rajasthan Royals in the next match on Sunday.
