Hemavathi, 16, from Doddalballapur, a student at Sparsha Trust, scored 91.84% in SSLC Exam 1, overcame some challenges. Her father died recently and her mother was helping the family.
“My school teacher Sonia Ma'am connects me with the Sparsha Trust,” said Hemavathi, who has been receiving education and guidance from organizations for the past four years.
Hemavathi recalls that she was unable to read or write when she first joined Sparsha.
“She is still focused and compassionate despite her personal hardship. She inspired everyone around her,” said one of Sparsha's mentors.
Hemavathi remains rooted but hopeful as she prepares to enter the next stage of her education. “I want to be a doctor so that I can help those suffering,” she said.
