Pope Leo vs. JD Vance’s Epic Snub after the inauguration of the first American Pontive in Rome

Pope Leo Xiv had little mind about JD Vance after his inauguration – only providing hasty Hello to the vice president while inviting other world leaders to attend intimate meetings.
Despite Pope Leo’s fanatical criticism of the Trump administration, Vance and his wife Usha attended the opening ceremony of Rome’s first American Pontive on Sunday.
The 69-year-old Catholic church head was shaken with hands warmly at St. Peter’s Square.
The video of the present moment shows the pope nodded politely while he, 39-year-old Usha, and 40-year-old Catholic-Convert Vance.
But the entire quality exchange lasted only 17 seconds.
Meanwhile, Pope Leo meets with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra after celebrating historic inauguration.
Political figures from Canada, Italy, Germany and the EU officials also attended the ceremony. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is also among the approximately 200,000 people.
Before he quickly greets Vance, the pope appears to have digged into the Trump administration’s immigration policies and stance.

“In this age, we still see too much discord, too much caused by hatred, violence, prejudice, fear of difference and an economic paradigm that utilizes the resources of the planet and makes the poorest,” Pope Leo preached.
Donald Trump launched a severe immigration crackdown and even suggested seizing foreign countries, including Greenland and Canada.
The Pope, formerly known as Father Robert Prevost, had his history as acknowledging Trump and Vance, which began with his prestigious role.
He repeatedly criticized the Trump administration’s immigration stance.
The Pope also shared articles about Vance’s position on immigration. One of them is titled: “JD Vance is wrong: Jesus does not ask us to rank our love for others.”
His last retweet, on April 14, slammed the Trump administration for deporting the 30-year-old undocumented immigrant from El Salvador.
The post reads: “Don’t you see the pain? Is your conscience not disturbed? How can you keep quiet?
In 2017, the Chicago-born Pope republished a message supporting DACA recipients—the undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States when their parents were young.

Pope Leo also shared a 2018 post that reads: “There is no remote Christian, American or moral defense regarding the policy of taking children out of their parents and warehouses in cages. This is done in our name and the shame is for all of us.”
He also shared several messages directly against Trump’s immigration orders – including a 2018 letter from Peruvian Catholic leaders, thanking the Trump administration for “stop separation of immigrant children and parents.”
Vance appeared to have abandoned Leo’s previous criticism when he told conservative broadcaster Hugh Hewitt last week: “I try not to play the politicization of the Pope’s game.
“I’m sure he’ll say a lot of things I like. I’m sure he’ll say something I disagree with, but despite that, I’ll continue to pray for him and the church and that’s how I handle it.
Former Pope Francis, Pope Francis, died just a few hours after meeting with Vance on Easter, and made remarks with the U.S. Vice President for reasons similar to Pope Leo.
Pope Francis talked about Trump’s deportation plan in a February letter to the bishop of the United States, which appears to be followed specifically to defend the Catholic faith in defending the deportation policy.

Earlier that month, Vance argued for the medieval Catholic ideology of the Latin word “Ordo amoris”, which translated into “the order of love”, a reasonable American first approach.
In Trump’s first semester in 2016, Pope Francis announced that anyone who wants to fence the wall to stop immigration is “not Christian.”
After the death of the Latin American Pope, Vance told reporters: “I will not stain this man’s legacy by talking about politics, I think he is a great Christian pastor, and that’s how I choose to remember the Father.”
