Pope Leo’s brother says he is worried that he will never see his siblings again… and reveals a strange “premonition”
The new pope’s brother admitted that seeing his siblings become pope leaders was a painful time because he was worried that he would not be able to see him again.
Louis Prevost, brother of Robert Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, said he was shocked when he watched the conclusion of the meeting and saw his brother come out of the Vatican.
He described the moment as “shock and awe” FOX13And said: “When I see him, it all hits the home and becomes real.
“Like, ‘Oh, that’s Rob…oh my God…yes, Rob!”
The siblings grew up with John, another brother in Chicago, whom Louis said, even when he was a kid, Robert was known for his love for religion.
“We used to laugh at him as the Pope because he always had a holy way of him,” he said.
“Neighbors on the street…many people once said, “You will grow into Pope one day, Robert.” “Our brother? Pope? No. It won’t happen.
But he said he was worried that their weekly conversation might end as his brother was fully focused on the Vatican, adding: “Yes, I am the Pope’s brother, but it’s hard to see the Pope.”

The siblings grew up in Chicago with their other brother, John, and Louis said that even as a child, they “was laughing at him as a pope because he always had a holy way of him”
Louis said he had to talk to his brother up to three times a week, even discussing the meeting with him shortly before the process began.
“We talked a little bit and I said, “You know what happens if you win? What if they vote for you? Do you want to accept it? He recalled.
Louis said his brother replied, “I will accept…this is God’s will. In His hands.
Now that his brother has fired shots around the world, Louis said he has always wondered “if we can really see him again and be with him.”
He said he was sure his brother was ready, “just because he was a man, he would do well.”

But while many Americans celebrated the first American citizen as a pope, Prest has seen his tenure mark the allegations of the scandal.
Shortly after his victory in the conference game, Prevost faced a “opposite” charge when he faced charges against allegations of child sexual abuse against pastors in his Chicago and South American churches.
Prevost was accused by a group of survivors of failure to act on allegations of abuse in the United States and Peru – they transferred them to the cardinal who chose him.
