Portfolio Replacing in Telangana CMO

�Hyderabad:After revising the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) last week, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced Friday that senior officials will redistribute their portfolios to simplify governance and ensure better coordination across departments.
CM’s Chief Secretary V. Sheshadri will continue to serve as the head of the CMO and has commissioned a key portfolio. Under the order, Sheshadri will oversee headquarters, law and order, law department, family, finance, planning, legislative affairs, land income, food, civil supply and consumer affairs, agriculture, animal husbandry and dairy development, and cooperation and marketing.
This order specifies that Sheshadri will oversee and coordinate the work of all other officials and employees within the CMO. All major policy issues must be discussed with him before making a decision.
Retired IAS official K. Sreenivasa Raju, who recently entered the CMO for Chief Secretary, has been assigned to the portfolio of transport, roads and buildings, housing, donations, information and public relations, sports, youth services, culture and tourism.
CM Secretary K. Manicka Raj has allocated municipal administration and urban development, irrigation, income (business tax, prohibition and excise tax), mines and geology, health, medical, medical and family welfare, disaster management, Panchayat Raj and rural development (including rural water supply).
CM’s Special Secretary B. Ajith Reddy will handle responsibilities related to energy, education (school, advanced and technical), industries (including investment), IT, electronics and communications, labor, labor, employment training and factories, and related to CM security, appointments and CMO management.
Special Responsibilities Officer of CM Vemula Srinivasulu has been assigned to women, children, disabled and elderly welfare, environment, forests, science and technology, welfare (SC, ST, BC and ethnic minorities), Prajavani, Prajavani, Chief Minister Rescue Fund (CMRF) and Computerization.
