The son of the BJP MLA, eight other people booked for forcibly entering the temple, beat the priest in Madhya Pradesh

Police added him and seven other men to the first Information Report (FIR) on Tuesday (15 April 2025) a few days after Indore Balatia Janata MLA’s son Golu Shukla and his friends were accused of forcing their entry into a temple in the Duvas district at night and assaulting the priest.
Rudraksh Shukla, son of BJP MLA of Indore-3 seats, Goli Shukla and eight others were charged with riding a convoy of about seven cars, some with fanatics and red beacons, in a famous temple in Dewas later Sunday night and on Dewas on Sunday night, forcibly attacking the temple and charges. CCTV footage of the incident was rage on the internet, with Congress slamming the ruling party and seeking action against Mr. Shukla.
FIR filed on one person on Monday. Mr. Shukla and seven other people were named on FIR Tuesday.
Deputy police chief of Dewas police officer Jerville Bardoria said the other defendants had been added after examining CCTV videotapes and the complaints and statements of recorded witnesses.
He also said police caught four of the seven vehicles.
Sources from the BJP’s Madhya Pradesh division told Hindu The state leaders were “dissatisfied” with the incident, “even RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) conveyed its dissatisfaction to the party”.
