Power recovers quickly in adverse weather: Ministry of Electricity

Vijayawada: In multiple areas, heavy rain and strong winds destroyed the service, the power supply of the entire Andhra Pradesh was quickly restored in Andhra Pradesh. AP Power Utility responded on the basis of war and restored supplies in record time.
Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand conducted a virtual review with AP Power utility officials to assess interference and recovery efforts. He praised the on-site staff and engineers for their relentless work under challenging conditions to minimize public inconvenience.
He said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar are closely monitoring the situation and highlighting positive plans and responding quickly to the challenges posed by the weather.
AKV BHASKAR's APCPDCL CMD said that 129 33kV feeders and 482 11KV feeders were affected. Among them, 125 and 477 were restored, and the rest are expected to run before 10 pm
CMD I. Prudhvi Tej of APEPDCL said the 177 33kV and 742 11kV feeders were affected. Recovery has been completed 176 and 699 respectively, and the rest is to be restored to 10 pm
APSPDCL, K. SantoshaRao's CMD said four 33kV feeders and 13 11kV feeders were affected. Everyone keeps the fix and is expected to be completed tonight.
Vijayanand stressed that the power supply of key services, especially drinking water facilities, must be uninterrupted. He directed all levels of power personnel from linemen to CMD to be vigilant and responsive to ensure timely recovery.
