Hyderabad: Telangana High Court is upset with residents of Khairatabad and Tolichowki, who are upset with the construction of tunnel drainage projects through their area roads.
Residents wrote a letter to the High Court that the ongoing tunnel drainage project work from Mothi Darwaza to Tolichowki did not evaluate its effectiveness and did not accept reports from experts. They fear that the works may harm the structural integrity of the house. They said their house vibrated due to drilling and excavation work,
Residents seek to leave independent technical assessments on the project’s impact on the project on the project and instructions.
The High Court accepted the matter as PIL and issued notices to the Chief Secretary, MA and UD departments, GHMC Commissioner, HMWS&SB Managing Director and Rangareddy Collector.
