The child’s grandfather, Glen Norris, told local news outlets that the allegations were untrue and even reminded police about witnesses that he helped his family leave the crashed vehicle.
Commenting on its Facebook post, police said they did not do this to embarrass anyone or add to pain. Police said it was to fulfill their responsibility to provide information to the people.
