Preventive steps taken to resolve heat waves: Minister

The Tamil Nadu government has taken various precautions to deal with the heat wave in Tamil Nadu. Massachusetts Secretary of Health, it has been maintaining a medical list. Subramanian said at the conference Tuesday.

Congressional lawmaker JG Prince made a motion to attract attention in the House, highlighting the need for drugs needed for the disease in the government’s general hospital in the summer. In response, the minister presented a report listing the steps the government is taking.

The minister said the government is monitoring the integrated health information platform – the real-time update of the national climate change and human health program and stocks in necessary health inventory.

In view of Heatwave and related cases, two and 10 beds were allocated at primary health centers, government hospitals and government medical college hospitals. He added that the ambulance was on standby.

He added that a standard operating procedure has been issued to provide treatment to people affected by heat waves and to ensure availability of drinking water and oral rehydration solutions in public places.
