Prime Video, CJ ENM Plays Korean Dramas Globally

To expand the major action to visit South Korea’s entertainment globally, Prime Video and South Korean media giant CJ ENM announced years of strategic cooperation to distribute high-quality Korean content to more than 240 countries and regions outside South Korea and China. The announcement was published at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai.
As part of the deal, Prime Video will premiere exclusively in 2025 and 2026 for new titles from CJ ENM, Studio Dragon and CJ Enm Studios. All titles will make all titles more accessible with subtitles in 28 languages and dubbed in 11, reflecting the push by Prime Video to drive localization and inclusive storytelling.

Jangho Seo, executive vice president of CJ ENM, expressed confidence in the alliance, saying: “With Prime Video’s reach and dedication, we are excited to bring the story to fans across cultures. This marks a critical step in our global expansion.” As part of the subscription, Prime members will be able to stream new Korean content at no additional cost.
