Private schools in Bangalore were booked for forging fire safety NOC

Vidhana Soudha police have registered a case against a city private school, allegedly forged a fire safety NOC to take advantage of CBSE affiliation.

The defendant was identified as the president of the BGS Bloomfield School of Thyagaraja Nagar, Guprappa Naidu and his trustee Sunitha Naidu allegedly filed forgery documents to mislead the High Court revealed during the verification period.

According to a complaint filed by city advocate Sudha Katwa, Vidhana Souudha police have charged the defendants based on several parts that include forgery.

The forgery was revealed when Ms. Katwa filed a written petition to the school, allegedly constructing the building on the stormwater drainage pipe. The defendant objected to the petition, as well as a set of documents including NOC of Fire Safety Measures by the Ministry of Fire and Emergency Services.

Ms. Katwa suspected the credibility of the certificate obtained from the Anjinapura office rather than the jurisdiction Chamarajapet office, and Ms. Katwa sought the details of the certificate through RTI and found that no such NOC was issued.

The matter was submitted to the court notice before filing a complaint with the police.

She claimed that the defendants even tampered with the building sanctions plan for building the hotel, but they built the ground plus four-story building, adding that the defendants did not occupy the certificate and were illegally operating the school.
