Priyank Kharge directs officials to prepare for the action plan to improve SSLC and results in Kalaburagi

In view of the sharp decline in SSLC and PUC inspections in Kalaburagi District, Minister Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and Kalaburagi District Head Priyank Kharge directed the education department officials to direct a comprehensive blueprint to improve the academic effect of the region.

At a meeting held in his office in Bangalore on Wednesday (7 May 2025), Chief Secretary of the Ministry of School Education and Literacy V. Rashmi and other specialists of the department (Kalaburagi department) Akash S stressed the urgent need to implement a strategic plan aimed at enhancing the standards of education in the region.

The minister noted that Kalaburagi said in poor performance of SSLC and PUC that the examination results highlighted the need for immediate attention and intervention to improve the academic quality of the region. He pointed out that education is a key indicator of social progress and is greatly affected by social and economic factors.

Emphasizing the importance of measurable academic progress, the Minister directed officials to conduct thorough research on the educational shortcomings of the region and design effective solutions. He told them to take this issue seriously and ensure significant improvements in learning outcomes.

To this end, the Minister has directed the education department to develop a regional action plan for this school year, with a focus on improving the quality of education in Kalaburagi.
