Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana visited Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (Gift City) in Ahmedabad on the first day of the two-day tour in Gujarat on Sunday.
He talked with officials there about how Gift City (860 acres) transformed into the country’s fintech hub.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Narayana visited the huge statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Statue of Unity) in Ekta Nagar, Ahmedabad.
He asked about materials used to make the world’s tallest statues and other related aspects to replicate these construction techniques when building towering statues of the famous Amaravati leader.
In addition, the Minister visited the Environmental Planning and Technology Centre in Ahmedabad.
Mr. Narayana was commissioned by AP CRDA, Kannababu, Chairman of Amaravati Development Company D. Lakshmi Parthasarathy and AP Greening and Beautification Corporation MD MKV Sreenivasulu.
