The Selection Committee has completed 68 participating teams, laying the foundation for fierce competition. The game started in the first four games, narrowing the venue to 64 teams and taking several rounds, leading to a national championship.

First four games

The final contestants entering the main brackets were identified at the beginning of the first four games.
Tuesday, March 18
No. 16 seed match (South Region): Alabama eliminated St. Francis 70-68. Alabama will face No. 1 seed Auburn in the southern region.
No. 11 seed match (South Region): North Carolina defeated San Diego State with a 95-68 victory. North Carolina continues to compete with No. 6 seed Mississippi.

Wednesday, March 19
No. 16 seed match (Eastern): Mount St. Mary defeated American colleges 83-72. Mount St. Mary will face the First Duke in the eastern region.
