According to police, the professor posted a message in the Whatsapp group of faculty members that read: “No one is bigger than Kali Mai's devil.”
The news was released on Friday afternoon and was written in English but in Hindi letters.
The Post has sparked a series of protests by various Hindu institutions at the Gandhi Nagar Police Station in Ambikapur, headquartered in Surguja District, calling for action against the professor.
In this regard, the Secretary General of Surguja Regional Force BJP, Inder Kumar Bhagat, filed a complaint at the Gandhi Nagar Police Station.
