Punjab Kings star batsman Glenn Maxwell fined 25% of the game fees for violating this IPL code of conduct, and BCCI also took strong action

The IPL released a statement on Wednesday to confirm that Maxwell has admitted to the Level 1 offense, which resulted in 25% of his game costs.

Punjab Kings all-round player Glenn Maxwell was fined 25% of the game fees after violating the IPL code of conduct in a clash with the Chennai Super Kings at the new PCA stadium on Tuesday and amassed a problem after violating the IPL code of conduct.

The IPL released a statement on Wednesday to confirm that Maxwell has admitted to the Level 1 offense, which resulted in 25% of his game costs and a score of one. The decision of the match referee is the final decision and is binding on Level 1 violations.

“Punjab Kings all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was fined 25% of the game fees and violated the IPL code of conduct during a match against Chennai Super Kings at the new PCA stadium in the new Chandigarh on Tuesday, which also accumulated a problem to violate the IPL code of conduct.”

“Glenn Maxwell admitted Level 1 offences of Section 2.2 (abuse of fixtures and accessories during the match) and was sanctioned by the match referee,” the statement concluded.

Maxwell, who bought Punjab for Rs 420 crore, continued to perform poorly with the Bats, a cash-rich league. With the bat, his shock was limited and it stayed the same as he returned to the locker room in the blink of an eye and scored 1 (2). Overall, he has called out just 31 runs in four games in the ongoing season.

While his bat appeals to silence, Maxwell finds solace in his effects on the spin. In its economic performance against the Super Kings, Maxwell returned as 1/11 after bowling twice. Overall, he has three scalps in four matches for the King of Punjab.

Despite Maxwell’s failed performance, Priyansh Arya inspired Punjab’s 219/6 of his virginity in the IPL. He broke his bond and spread a 39-ball blister century, a scorching performance of Shashank Singh (52*) and Marco Jansen (34*). In response, despite the belligering starts of Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra, CSK staggered halfway through and didn’t win 18 times.
