PVT Hospital Resume Service under NTR Vaidya

Vijayawada: Under the direction of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh resumed medical services in Andhra Pradesh Association under the leadership of Ntr Vaidya Seva.

Private hospitals ceased services on April 7 under NTR Vaidya and the Employee Health Plan after private hospitals notified the state government about funding up to Rs 3,500 crore.

CM Naidu called for an emergency meeting with the ASHA implementing agency (accredited social health activist) on Monday night and explained to doctors the difficulties the state government faces in managing available resources.

But understanding the critical role played by hospitals and healthcare providers, CM approved the release of Rs 5 billion immediately and ensure that their remaining dues are cleared with the most important focus.

CM also ensures that meetings with the ASHA implementing agencies are scheduled to discuss other issues in detail.

Special Chief Secretary for Health Krishna Babu interacted with the Asha implementing agency and vowed to ensure the release of the remaining funds. He said a meeting will be arranged with Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav on April 10 to discuss future payment schedules, packaging revisions, wage enhancements and other issues.

Therefore, from Tuesday, the ASHA implementing agency decided to resume cashless services at NTR Vaidya Seva at all hospitals in the state.
