Rahul Gandhi arrives in the United States to visit Brown University in Rhode Island | Indian News

Senior Congressional leaders and opposition leaders arrived at the Logan International Airport in Boston, USA on Saturday (local time).

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi plans to visit Brown University in Rhode Island, where he will interact with faculty and students.

He is also expected to interact with NRI community, office campaigners and members of the Overseas Congress of India (IOC).

Previously, Congressional leader Pawan Khera informed Rahul Gandhi of his visit to the United States in an article on X, saying: “Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Brown University on April 21 and 22 at Brown University in Rhode Island, USA.

This marks Rahul Gandhi’s second visit to the United States in recent months. In September 2024, Rahul Gandhi made a three-day visit.

During his visit, he traveled to Dallas, where he interacted with students and teachers from the University of Texas and addressed members of the Indian diaspora.

Congressman Rahul Gandhi from Dallas traveled to Washington, D.C. where he interacted with Georgetown students and faculty. This is Rahul Gandhi’s first visit to the United States after becoming the opposition leader of Lok Sabha.

Rahul Gandhi’s previous visit stirred a political storm as he commented on becoming a “fair place” in the country once the system was removed.

He also reiterated the need for a caste census, believing that 90% of the country’s population – OBC, Dalit and adivasis s-lacks – are fully represented, which he describes as “elephants in the room”.
