Opposition leaders of Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi wrote to Telangana and Himaal Pradesh Chief Ministers urging them to enact the Rohith Vemula bill to end discrimination against educational institutions for students in marginalized communities.
Gandhi wrote to Karnataka CM CM Siddaramaiah a few days later, Gandhi wrote to CMS’s CMS, including two congressional states – Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Himachal Pradesh Pradesh Pradesh Pradesh Pradesh Pradesh Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu – to push them to formulate the legislation, which is the party’s election commitment.
In his letter, Gandhi emphasized the importance of making legislation in honor of Rohith Vemula’s memory and a step towards ensuring justice and protection for students in marginalized communities.
