Party leaders said in Amethi that starting his two-day Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (29 April 2025) he will visit his constituents Rae Bareli and Party Bastion Amethi for a two-day trip to Uttar Pradesh.
They said that during the visit, Mr. Gandhi will open a heart unit at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Amethi and inspect the ordnance factory in Munshiganj.
This will be Mr. Gandhi’s first visit to Amethi after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Mr. Gandhi will first visit to Rae Bareli on April 29, where he will attend a meeting of the Regional Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) and stay overnight at the Bhuemau Guest House, MP Kishori Lal Sharma, from Amethi.
On April 30, the opposition leaders of Lok Sabha will head along the way to the ordnance factory in Munshiganj, followed by the inauguration of the heart unit at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Mr Sharma said.
He said Mr. Gandhi will also conduct inspections on Indira Gandhi Nursing College.
The Sanjay Gandhi Hospital is operated by the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Foundation in New Delhi. Sonia Gandhi is the chairman of the Trust, while Rahul Gandhi serves as the Trustee.
