Rahul Gandhi’s EC note was triggered by Ed Heat, poll failed: BJP

The BJP said on Monday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks were that the Election Commission was “compromised” reflects his frustration with the Enforcement Bureau (ED).

In a recent interaction in Boston, Gandhi claimed that the Election Commission (EC) was “compromised and had problems with the system.”

“Parliament’s anger at the emergency room is targeting the Election Commission,” BJP spokesman Sambit Patra told reporters at Delhi’s party headquarters. “It’s an open-ended case because of fact-based ED work, so there is no gain from it.”
Patra said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha election, the BJP won 240 seats, while Congress won only 99 seats, “but they (Parliament) celebrated and claimed it was a loss for the BJP”.

“So, is the Election Commission compromised by Congress? Even in the Ayodhya election, they celebrated your victory. How is this possible?” Patra said. “This is possible because India holds free and fair elections. Rahul Gandhi, who insults India abroad, must remember that he was bailed for Rs 50,000.”

Rahul is used to spreading hatred abroad India: Pradan

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of often sharing “hatred ideas” about India and its democratic institutions when he was abroad. Pradhan claims Gandhi “has hated recognition of India’s vibrant democratic tradition” and claims his remarks stem from frustration at the Congress’ repeated election defeat.
