Rain in Bangalore requires women to live in a collapse of walls; opposition attacks Congress and says: “From Greater Bangalore to submerged Bangalore”

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said the problems facing Bengaluru during the monsoon are not new. However, he assured that the government is now adopting long-term solutions to fix them.
The city has received about 104 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours. This caused flooding in many low-lying areas and caused severe traffic congestion. In response, the BJP launched a strong attack on the ruling party.
CN Ashwath Narayan, former deputy chief minister and MLA MLA, criticized Shivakumar on social media. “It took zero,” he said, adding: “Last night’s rain did not expose Bengaluru’s infrastructure, they revealed @dkshivakumar’s track record, which was doing nothing in the last two years.”
Sunil Kumar Karkala, Secretary General of the BJP in Karnataka and the MLA of Karkala challenge the government to release a white paper to show how much the Bengaluru infrastructure has actually cost over the past two years. He also urged people to visit the Silk Council intersection to see what is really going on.
BJP spokesman Ashwath Narayan Gowda accused the government of ignoring warnings about heavy rain at a press conference. “Although the weatherman predicted heavy rains about a week ago, he said, ” he was not preparing for the monsoon, as Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar was responsible for the chaos in the city. Gowda also criticized the government’s slogan, saying: “From the Bangalore brand to the larger Bangalore, now starting from Greater Bangalore, it has now flooded Bangladesh. In recent years, he has not been able to stay in the state government’s achievements in recent developments. It rained. “Bangalore paid the highest tax in Karnataka, but the investment required for basic infrastructure is missing. ”
In response, Shivakumar said he has been in contact with officials and is closely monitoring the situation. On social media, he expressed concern about the damage caused by the ruthless rain.
He wrote: “I have been in constant contact with the officials concerned and I am closely monitoring the situation. As always, I am still committed to Bangalore, working 24/7 to meet challenges and ensure relief. I will personally place visits to the BBMP War Room and flood-affected areas on site for local site inventory.”
Shivakumar also acknowledged that the city’s problems have been long-standing. “Let’s be clear: the problems we’re having today are not new. For years, in government and government, they have been overlooked. The only difference now is that we are working to solve these problems. Not with temporary fixes, but with long-term, sustainable solutions.”
He assured the citizens with support: “I am one of you to my Bangladeshis. I understand your concerns, I share your frustration, I assure you that I am committed to addressing their commitment. I stand with you.”
