Officials said high alerts were issued in the Rajasthan border area due to Pakistan’s threat to potential strikes.
Regional government and police officials have asked residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary exercise.
In Barmer, warning sirens sounded to remind people of the severity of this situation. The police team also intensified patrols and issued announcements through police cars and public address systems to inform public alerts.
