Rajiv Yuva Vikasam sanctions letter to be issued on June 2: Bhatti

Harman: Deputy Chief Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka announced on Sunday that a sanction letter under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam self-employed plan will begin in Telangana on June 2.
Malu Bhatti Vikramarka said at a press conference held in his camp office in Madhira, Khammam district, that the Congressional government has provided letters of appointment to 56,000 candidates who passed the competitive examination within 18 months. He added that recruitment for another 30,000 government positions is currently underway.
He said, stressing the efforts made by the government to support those who cannot ensure that the government works, he said the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam program was introduced to expand financial aid to help unemployed youths to help them build self-employed units. The deadline for submitting applications for the program is extended to April 14 in response to public demand. After the application for review, a sanction letter will be issued at the Mandal level from June 2 to 9. A week-long training program will be conducted for selected beneficiaries based on the units they choose to establish.
Under the scheme, financial assistance from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to eligible youths. Barty urges unemployed people to make the most of their initiative to become a self-reliance initiative.
He also highlighted Telangana’s unique position as the only state in the country that provides Sanna Biyyam (quality rice) to all ration card holders under the Public Distribution System (PDS). “The Congress government has realized the long-standing dream of the poor consuming rice every day,” he said. Currently, 2.85 billion individuals from 9 million ration card-holding families are taking advantage of this income, which is expected to quickly reach the number of cards of Rs 10 million, covering about 3 million people. He added that the state spends Rs 135,23 crore per year to provide quality rice under PDS.
Bhatti Vikramarka scanned the last BRS government and despite the promise of a decade to make a promise to Sanna Biyyam, it failed to make a promise despite calling Telangana a “rich state”.
Earlier in the day, the Deputy Chief Minister laid the foundation for the underground drainage project in Madhira, with an estimated cost of Rs 12.8 crore.
