tirupati: Tirumala Traffic Police rescued two young children in a locked car near the 1 area of Valahaswami Hotel on Friday, gasping.
According to police, a family from Badvel, YSR Kadapa district, has traveled to Tirumala to Darshan. The group includes Sumalatha, her 7-year-old son and four-year-old daughter Sumalatha’s brother Dangayya and his family, in addition to male relatives.
When the woman chooses to go on the hills from Alipiri, Gangayya, male relatives and two children in a car. After arriving at Tirumala, they stopped near Varahaswamy Guest House-1. Police said Gan Yaya and another adult left the vehicle to inquire about the process of Dashan, locking the children in the car and rolling up the windows.
When the car was parked without ventilation, the children began to feel suffocated and began to cry. Their suffering caught the attention of nearby taxi drivers, who immediately alerted the Tirumala Traffic Police. The police responded quickly, opening a window, saving the children and taking them to Ashevini Hospital for treatment.
A town policeman in Tirumala then handed the child over to their mother Suratara. They booked a negligence case against Gan Yaya.
