BCCI announces India’s 2025 home season fixtures; hosts West Indies and South Africa

The South African T20I series is important to India as they prepare for the T20 World Cup next year.

Cricket fans are enjoying a treat as India’s (BCCI) cricket control committee has revealed the timeline for the 2025 international home season! India will host South Africa and the West Indies in a series of exciting tests, ODI and T20I competitions.

The action started when the action was played twice against the West Indies in the IDFC First Bank Test Series. From October 2 to 6, 2025, Ahmedabad will hold its first test. From October 10 to 14, 2025, the convoy will head to Kolkata for a second test.

Guwahati will host its first Test match as India will host two Test series after the West Indies series. New Delhi will hold its first test from November 14, 2025 to November 14, 1825, while Guwahati will conduct its second test from November 22 to 26, 2025.

Once the tests are combined, India and South Africa will face off in three ODI series before going through a five-game winning streak in the T20I series. The ODI competition will line up at various venues in December to enter the T20I series, which will also be held in different positions, eventually with the Final T20I in Ahmedabad.

The test series for the West Indies is crucial to India’s world test championship sport, and Guwahati’s historic test against South Africa is certainly the highlight of the season!

Test 1: Ahmedabad, October 2 (9:30 am)

Second test: October 10, Kolkata (9:30 am)

South Africa Tour India

Test 1: New Delhi, November 18 (9:30 am)

Second test: Guwahati on November 26 (9:30 am)

ODI on 1st: November 30, Ranchi

2nd ODI: December 3, Raibull

The third ODI: December 6, Vizag

1st T20I: December 9th, Cuttack

The second T20I: December 11, New Chandigarh

The third T20I: Daramsala on December 14

Fourth T20i: December 17, Lucknow

5th T20I: December 19, Ahmedabad
