Nalgonda: Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Monday directed officials to quickly track down the city’s underground drainage work before the monsoon begins and complete it before the monsoon begins.
During the project inspection of the bypass roads, he noted that the Rs 189 crore scheme funded by Amrut-3.0 includes the construction of 44 MLD sewer treatment plants and 9.5 MLD plant in Puttakota in Dhamsapuram. Rao urges the deployment of other JCBs, machinery and manpower to accelerate progress and ensure that the new drainage network is fully operational before heavy rain.
