They say dreams require sleep, but to make these dreams come true, hard work, patience and passion are also required. The inspiring story of Sathya Shankar from Bangalore is a perfect example of how determination and dedication turn the most unlikely dream into reality. Sathya was once a car driver and now owns one of the world’s most luxurious cars.

Sathya’s journey began in the 1980s when he drove an automatic rickshaw in Bangalore. Even then, he still improved his big dream of life. After years of hard work, he managed to pay off his car’s loan. Then he sold it and bought an ambassador car. This step marked the beginning of his success in climbing.

In the following years, Sathya entered the automotive garage business and began selling tires. But life made a bigger plan for him. In 2002, he made a significant leap and founded his own company, SG Corporates. The company initially sold different products, including the popular Bindu Jeera Masala Soda. His business grew rapidly over time and brought him great success over the next twenty years.

Today, SG Group, founded by Sathya Shankar K, is located in Puttur, Karnataka. The company has grown into a multi-sector business with a strong presence in food and beverage, automotive spare parts, auto financing, organic agriculture and fruit processing. SG Group’s annual turnover is now around Rs 8 billion.

With years of struggle, wise decisions and continuous efforts, Sathya has achieved what many people can only dream of. He is now the proud owner of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII, a car that costs more than Rs 11 crore. What makes it even more special is that it is marked “made specifically for Sathya Shankar”.

Sathya Shankar’s journey in life proves that if a person is willing to work hard for it, it won’t be too big. From driving down the streets of Bangalore to sitting behind the wheel of a Rolls-Royce, his story is indeed a kind of hope, courage and success.
